Building a new role

On a roughly equal split in the leave/remain world, Brexit was always going to be divisive. However, are we missing the point? Whilst change does strange things to us, as human beings, we appear able to adapt quickly and I cannot help thinking there are exciting times ahead. The reference I often quote is redundancy. After the horror of 'that' meeting, panic sets in - why me, what about the mortgage, how long will this last, what if I have literally become 'redundant'. Slowly, you start to take stock of everything: family, life balance, the wider world, fun. And you start to realise just how threadbare and unfullied your current job had become. It took a decision outside of your control to come out stronger and in a better position. My point? We may be at the forefront of many unknowns but it sometimes takes the biggest of jolts to get moving in a new environment with new challenges - an environment that drives us to ultimately create the greatest benefits.
